LEWISTON, Idaho – Elizabeth Labbe shot a 1-under, 73 to win the individual title and British Columbia won by 21 strokes at the Warrior Invitational at the Lewiston Golf and Country Club on Tuesday.
Labbe finished her round with a birdie on No. 9 and an eagle on No. 10 to jump three places for the victory.
Valentina Zuleta of Rocky Mountain and Grace Bell of British Columbia finished in a tie for second place. Both shot a 2-over, 74 in the final round. Deana Caruso of LC State finished in fourth and Quincy Beyrouty of Oregon Tech rounded out the top five. Day one leader Bo Brown shot a 9-over, 81 and finished in a tie for sixth.
The Thunderbirds had all five golfers finish inside the top 10 and shot a second round team score of 301 for a tournament total of 601. LC State finished 21 strokes behind in second place after a second-round team score of 315 and a total team score of 622. Oregon Tech finished in third at 633 with Rocky Mountain one stroke behind in fourth. Southern Oregon (667) and Walla Walla (852) completed the standings.
