2024 CCC Women’s Golf Tournament Preview

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2024 Cascade Collegiate Conference Women’s Golf Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, is ready to get underway Monday morning. Follow along with live results and on the tournament page.
 
The winner of the tournament will get the CCC’s automatic qualifier to the NAIA National Tournament, while the regular-season conference championship will be determined by the best win/loss record of the regular season tournaments – including the conference tournament. In case of a tie, co-conference champions will be declared.
 
All-Conference honors will be awarded to the top 10 players with the lowest stroke average. Individuals must have participated in a minimum of seventy-five percent of the CCC rounds played to be eligible for the honor.

No. 1-ranked University of British Columbia leads the conference standings with a 304.8 team average heading into the championship. UBC won all three conference tournaments this season and is looking to defend their title.

Next is No.19-ranked Oregon Tech, holding a 318.3 team average. (RV) Lewis-Clark State College follows right behind with a 319.7 team average.

Southern Oregon University (349.3 avg.), Corban University (393.2 avg.), Walla Walla University (435.3 avg.), and Bushnell University are also competing as teams. College of Idaho has two individuals.

Two Thunderbirds claim the top two individual standings with impressive scoring averages under 75. It will be an intense battle for the individual title with the next three golfers holding averages with less than a point of each other.

University of British Columbia will host the three-day tournament at Loomis Trail Golf Club in Blaine, Washington. The tournament is set to tee off with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday. A round of 18 will be played each day for a total of 54. The final day of competition on Wednesday will utilize tee times with the first group starting at 8 a.m. off of hole #10.
