BLAINE, Wash. – University of British Columbia maintained the lead after the second round of the 2024 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Golf Championship, presented by U.S. Bank.
The Thunderbirds continued with consistency, shooting a 283 (-5) as a team in round two.
The team scores after day one are: (1) British Columbia 281-283—564, (2) Lewis-Clark State College 290-294—584, (3) Oregon Tech 307-299—606, (4) College of Idaho 301-308—609, (5) Corban University 306-311—617, (6) Southern Oregon University 319-301—620, (7) Bushnell University 321-305—626, (8) Walla Walla University 332-307—639, (9) Multnomah 327-322—649.
Dylan Macdonald (70-69—139) of UBC caught up to tie for the lead in the individual standings with Alex Navarro (69-70—139) of LC State. They hold a narrow stroke advantage over Warrior Brayden Brown (69-71—140), followed right behind by T-Bird’s Manu Gandhi (71-70—141) and Mackenzie Bickell (70-72—142).
The final championship round will tee off on hole 1 on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. at the Loomis Trail Golf Club.
