KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes.
The Cascade Collegiate Conference saw 61 total scholar-athletes. Oregon Tech led the way with 10 total honorees. College of Idaho and Corban University followed right behind with nine each. Southern Oregon University earned eight recipients while Bushnell University claimed seven. University of British Columbia had six. University of Providence and Warner Pacific University each rounded out the teams with three individuals.
The 2024 list features 1,250 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
