CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference announced a partnership with EchoReplay to provide the league’s member schools with a comprehensive video review system for the sports of volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball.
“We are excited to partner with EchoReplay,” stated CCC commissioner Robert Cashell. “Coaches, officials, fans, and student-athletes all want the correct calls to be made and this technology will aid in the endeavor. We are proud to set a high standard as the first NAIA conference to sign on with a company like EchoReplay which is a leader in this space.”
EchoReplay provides advanced video review systems specifically designed for sports officials and teams to ensure accurate and fair decision-making during events. These systems allow referees and officials to review plays in slow motion, making it easier to identify and correct errors. By offering high-quality video playback and various viewing angles, EchoReplay's technology enhances the precision of officiating, reduces the likelihood of incorrect calls, and ultimately upholds the integrity of the sport. This service is integral in creating a more reliable and trustworthy officiating process, benefiting both the sports teams and the fans. With over 150+ D1 and D2 schools currently using EchoReplay for a variety of sports, the company has established itself as an industry leader in the video replay market.
"We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Cascade Collegiate Conference, marking our first collaboration with an NAIA conference for video review,“ stated EchoReplay Director of National Sales Heath Kufahl. “This partnership underscores our commitment to providing quality video review services at affordable prices. By integrating our advanced video review systems, we look forward to supporting the CCC in delivering fair and transparent outcomes, enriching the overall experience for athletes, coaches, and fans alike. We would like to thank Commissioner Cashell, and the member schools of the CCC and look forward to a great relationship.”
Member schools will be able to determine if they want to start for the 2024-25 season or the 2025-26 season when the use of EchoReplay will be mandatory in the league. Video review is entering its second and final year as optional in the CCC for volleyball and basketball.
