KANSAS CITY, Mo. – LC State Assistant Athletic Director/Sports Information Director Alisha Alexander was elected First Vice President of the NAIA Sports Information Directors Association (NAIA-SIDA) Executive Board, announced on Friday. She will serve a three-year term as First Vice President before rising to the NAIA-SIDA President role for a three-year term.
Alexander served as an At-Large Representative on the board in 2022-23 and was voted the Second Vice President in 2023-24. As First Vice President of NAIA-SIDA, she will lead the planning of the NAIA's Divisional Day at CSC Unite, the annual College Sports Communicators convention, and serve on the NAIA's National Administrative Council (NAC). She is the lone representative on the board from the west coast.
"I am thrilled for the opportunity to represent Lewis-Clark State and the west coast at a high level on the NAIA-SIDA board," Alexander said. "The NAIA is full of incredible athletic communicators that do a great job telling their student-athletes' stories and promoting their schools. I am proud to have the opportunity to advocate for them and help this organization grow."
Alexander enters her seventh year as the Warriors' SID in 2024-25, overseeing coverage for all 13 sports, and will begin her second year as Assistant Athletic Director and Senior Woman Leader. She became the first woman to be named the NAIA National SID of the Year in 2023 and has been voted the Cascade Conference SID of the Year twice.
