NAIA Announces Life & Athletics Education Series

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is excited to announce the launch of the NAIA Life & Athletics Education Series, a new initiative aimed at equipping student-athletes with essential life skills and holistic development tools to help them thrive both on and off the field.
 
These sessions, open to all NAIA student-athletes, will focus on critical areas designed to support their success during their time as student-athletes and beyond. "The value these sessions will bring to NAIA student-athletes is extremely useful to expand their knowledge," stated CCC ASA Advisor, Courtney Blumer. "We appreciate the support in fostering their personal and professional development and look forward to seeing the benefits from this enriching series."
 
A brief overview of the upcoming sessions:
Session 1: Being Financially Fit
Date: September 29, 7:00 PM CST
Partnering with First Interstate Bank, the Official Bank of the NAIA, this session will provide an overview of their Financial Education Platform, covering topics like budgeting, managing debt, and building emergency savings. Attendees will walk away with a personalized financial plan. This session is perfect for all student-athletes looking to strengthen their financial literacy.
 
Session 2: Physical Wellness
Date: November 18, 7:00 PM CST
 
Session 3: Incorporating Mental Health Care into Your Daily Routine
Date: February 2, 7:00 PM CST
 
Session 4: Leadership Development
Date: April 27, 7:00 PM CST
 
Each session will be hosted via Zoom, using the same link for every event, ensuring easy access for student-athletes.
