KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Felix Billard of Carroll College has been named the NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. He was selected based on his performances from September 16-22 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Billard, a sophomore forward from Mallorco, Spain, had outstanding performances in Carroll’s two CCC opening shutouts against Rocky Mountain College (3-0) and Walla Walla University (7-0). He recorded five goals on the weekend for a .636 shot on goal percentage and was 1-1 on penalty kick attempts with one game winning goal.
This weekend, the Fighting Saints are off to Portland Ore., to face (RV) Warner Pacific University and Multnomah.
