KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference saw five teams ranked and three received votes in the latest NAIA Volleyball Coaches Top 25 Poll, released Wednesday by the national office.
Eastern Oregon University held the top while remaining undefeated with 16 wins. The Mountaineers earned all 19 first-place votes and 510 points. EOU has lost only six of 54 total sets played. Kiauna Mack highlights the Mounties roster as she sits at No. 2 in the nation in blocks per set (1.83).
Corban University earned the No. 4 spot with 440 points and a 12-3 record. The Warriors are currently undefeated on their home court and at neutral sites, combining for 9-0. Makayla Roginski leads the attack for the Warriors with 3.61 kills per set, while this week's NAIA Defender of the Week, Gracie Boeder, leads the defensive effort at the net with 1.12 blocks per set. Addison Mills follows just behind Boeder with 1.11 blocks per set.
Lewis-Clark State College secured the No. 14 rank and 276 points and a 9-2 record.
College of Idaho found itself ranked right behind at No. 15. C of I secured 272 points with a 10-5 record.
Northwest University received the No. 23 rank with 111 points and a 10-4 record.
Walla Walla University (7-4),
Bushnell University (11-7), and
Southern Oregon University (6-9), all received votes.
