CORVALLIS, Ore. –
The following nine Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes have been recognized as the McDonald's Player of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, for their performances during competition from October 6 – October 12, 2025.
Men’s Cross Country – Runner
Eastern Oregon University’s Thomas Ogden was named the CCC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Ogden, a senior from Boise, Idaho, led the Mounties as the top NAIA runner at the LC State Invite. He finished the 8K at 24:24, helping propel EOU to a 4th place team finish ahead of multiple nationally ranked opponents.
Women’s Cross Country – Runner
No. 16-ranked Eastern Oregon University’s Riley Morris was named the CCC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Morris, a senior from Burns, Ore., was the first NAIA runner to cross the finish line at the LC State Invite. She set a personal record and recorded the 2nd fastest time in EOU history, finishing the 5K at 17:24.
Men’s Soccer – Defensive Player
The Evergreen State College’s Tom Cole was named the CCC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Cole, a junior goalkeeper from Pullman, Wash., helped lead the Geoducks to 1-1 draws with Bushnell University and Corban University on the road. He played full time in the net during both matches, resulting in 12 saves on a .857 save percentage.
Men’s Soccer – Offensive Player
(RV) Southern Oregon University’s Irwin Leon was named the CCC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Leon, a senior forward from Moreno Valley, Calif., helped lead the Raiders to a 4-1 victory over University of Providence. He recorded a goal and two assists with a .500 shot on goal percentage in the win.
Women’s Soccer – Defensive Player
Bushnell University’s Ana Augusto was named the CCC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Augusto, a senior goalkeeper from Sao Paulo, Brazil, helped lead the Beacons to two shutout victories against The Evergreen State College (4-0) and Northwest University (1-0). She completed all five saves this weekend to secure the clean sheets and record Bushnell’s first conference victory over Northwest.
Women’s Soccer – Offensive Player
Southern Oregon University’s Abby McKean was named the CCC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
McKean, a junior forward from Hanford, Calif., led the Raiders to a big 10-0 shutout over University of Providence. She recorded an incredible five goals on just seven shots for an outstanding .857 shot on goal percentage, matching the single-game program record.
Volleyball – Attacker
(RV) Walla Walla University’s Paula Flores was named the CCC Attacker of the Week.
Flores, a sophomore outside hitter from Buenos Aires, Argentina, had a stellar weekend for the Wolves. She tallied 39 kills (4.88 k/s) with a terrific .394 attack percentage. She also added 23 digs, four blocks and three service aces in her all around efforts.
Volleyball – Defender
No. 14-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s Ella Stosich was named the CCC Defender of the Week.
Stosich, a sophomore libero from Melba, Idaho, helped lead the Warriors to two more conference wins over (RV) Southern Oregon University (3-1) and Oregon Tech (3-0). She tallied an incredible 41 digs (5.86 d/s) while adding seven assists and three service aces.
Volleyball – Setter
No. 14-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s Teagan Scott was named the CCC Setter of the Week for the third time this season.
Scott, a sophomore setter from Eagle, Idaho, helped lead the Warriors to two more CCC wins this weekend. She dished out an outstanding 78 assists (11.14 a/s), tallied 13 digs (1.86 d/s), while adding eight kills and seven blocks.
