CORVALLIS, Ore. –
The following 11 Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes have been recognized as the McDonald's Player of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, for their performances during competition from September 29 – October 5, 2025.
Men’s Golf – Golfer
Lewis-Clark State College’s Andrea Artusini was named the CCC Men’s Golfer of the Week.
Artusini (67-71-69 – 207), a freshman from Massa e Cozzile, Italy, had an outstanding debut at the Beartooth Invitational. He opened his collegiate career with an impressive 9-under performance, finishing tied for first before falling in a playoff. The three rounds included 13 birdies and an eagle to lead LC State to a second-place team finish.
Women’s Golf – Golfer
University of British Columbia’s Sienna Harder was named the CCC Women’s Golfer of the Week.
Harder (71-73-68 – 212), a junior from Langley, B.C., won the NCAA Division I Harbottle Invitational by two strokes, finishing the tournament carding a 4-under par. She became just the second Thunderbird in the last 30 years to win an individual NCAA tournament title.
Men’s Cross Country – Runner
No. 9-ranked Corban University’s Jack Gladfelter was named the CCC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Gladfelter, a junior from Port Angeles, Wash., took the top non-NCAA DI placement at the Charles Bowles Invitational. He broke the program record in the 8K with a time of 23:52.7 in his first race of the season.
Women’s Cross Country – Runner
The Evergreen State College’s Alauna Carstens was named the CCC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Carstens, a junior from Shelton, Wash., was the first NAIA runner to cross the finish line at the Charles Bowles Invitational. She set the program record in the 5K with a time of 16:59.40.
Men’s Soccer – Defensive Player
(RV) Carroll College’s Pedro Rivera was named the CCC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Rivera, a freshman defender from Mexico City, Mexico, helped keep the Fighting Saints undefeated in conference play. He anchored the backline, contributing to the 2-0 shutout over Oregon Tech and the 3-1 win over (RV) Southern Oregon University, limiting the Raiders to six shots on goal. He also recorded his first collegiate goal against SOU.
Men’s Soccer – Offensive Player
(RV) Carroll College’s Sam Loughton was named the CCC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Russell, a junior center from East Yorkshire, England, helped keep the Fighting Saints undefeated in conference play. He ended the week with a goal in each match and four points on an impressive .800 shot on goal percentage.
Women’s Soccer – Defensive Player
Southern Oregon University’s Kaylah Bresee was named the CCC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Bresee, a junior defender from San Mateo, Calif., helped lead the Raiders to two shutout victories on the road against Rocky Mountain College (3-0) and Carroll College (2-0). She played all 180 minutes on the back line and added a goal in each match.
Women’s Soccer – Offensive Player
Southern Oregon University’s Brooklyn Hayes was named the CCC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Hayes, a junior forward from Cameron Park, Calif., helped lead the Raiders to two shutout victories on the road. She ended the week with two goals and an assist with five points on an outstanding .750 shot on goal percentage.
Volleyball – Attacker
No. 4-ranked Corban University’s Emma Bischoff was named the CCC Attacker of the Week.
Bischoff, a junior outside hitter from Medford, Ore., had another stellar weekend for the Warriors. She helped lead Corban to big four set wins over (RV) Walla Walla and No. 14-ranked Lewis-Clark State College. She tallied 30 kills (3.75 k/s) with a .286 hitting percentage. She also added 11 digs and two service aces in her all around efforts.
Volleyball – Defender
No. 1-ranked Eastern Oregon University’s Kiauna Mack was named the CCC Defender of the Week.
Mack, a senior middle hitter from Puyallup, Wash., helped keep the Mounties undefeated with shutouts over No. 15-ranked College of Idaho and Warner Pacific University. She tallied 12 total blocks (2.00 b/s) and is currently second in the nation in blocks per set at 1.85. Offensively, she also added 18 kills on an outstanding .517 clip.
Volleyball – Setter
No. 23-ranked Northwest University’s Morgan Harter was named the CCC Setter of the Week.
Harter, a senior setter from Ridgefield, Wash., helped lead the Eagles to two more CCC wins over (RV) Southern Oregon University (3-1) and Oregon Tech (3-0). She dished out 66 assists (9.43 a/s), tallied 19 digs (2.71 d/s), and added five service aces over the weekend.
