CORVALLIS, Ore. – Southern Oregon University claimed the top spot in the 2025-26 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Wrestling Preseason Poll, announced by the conference office on Thursday.
The Raiders earned six first-place votes and a total of 111 points in the coaches’ poll. Last season, SOU captured the 2025 CCC Men’s Wrestling Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, and finished 9th at the 2025 NAIA Championships with three wrestlers earning All-American honors.
Close behind, the University of Providence received three first-place votes and 108 points to rank second. The Argos placed 4th at the CCC Tournament and 7th at the national championships, also producing three All-Americans.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University claimed third with 95 points and one first-place vote. The Eagles were runners-up at the conference tournament and led CCC teams at nationals with four All-Americans, finishing 6th overall.
Corban University and Montana State University-Northern tied for fourth with 77 points apiece. Arizona Christian University followed in sixth with 71 points, including the final first-place vote, while Eastern Oregon University checked in seventh with 68 points. Westcliff University and Simpson University tied for eighth with 39 points each.
Rounding out the preseason poll, The Evergreen State College earned 25 points, and Hope International University totaled 16 points.
The 2026 CCC Men’s Wrestling Tournament is set for Feb. 20-21, hosted by Corban in Salem, Oregon. Automatic berths to the NAIA national championship are awarded to the top finishers in each weight class. Additional qualifier allocations will be released by the national office succeeding all NAIA conference tournaments. The 2026 NAIA Men’s Wrestling Championship will take place on March 5 - 7 in Park City, Kansas.
