2025 CCC Volleyball Championship – Semifinals

LA GRANDE, Ore.  The top two seeds clinched the final spots in the 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference Volleyball Championship, presented by U.S. Bank. 

No. 1 seed Eastern Oregon University def. Walla Walla University, 3-2
No. 1 seed Eastern Oregon battled back from an 0-2 hole to defeat No. 7 seed Walla Walla in five sets (21-25, 18-25, 25-15, 25-20, 15-8). Keira Vaughn led the Mountaineers with 13 kills on a .303 attack percentage, while Kiauna Mack delivered a standout two-way performance with 12 kills and 11 blocks. Setter Kate Stidham tallied 29 assists, and libero Jaycee Villastrigo anchored the back row with 17 digs. Despite the comeback, the match was statistically tight in multiple categories including kills and assists. Walla Walla was powered by another big outing from Sahara Browning, who posted 22 kills. The Wolves’ conference postseason run ends at 14-12 overall, marking the deepest tournament push in program history. Regular-season champion Eastern Oregon advances to the CCC title match.

No. 2 seed Corban University def. No. 3 seed Bushnell University, 3-0
No. 2 seed Corban University clinched the second spot in the championship match with a straight set win over No. 3 seed Bushnell (25-16, 25-23, 25-17). Gracie Boeder was unstoppable, posting 12 kills with zero errors for a remarkable .923 hitting percentage, while also adding eight blocks. Setter Abby Guindy directed the offense with 24 assists and the Warriors hit a strong .337 as a team while holding Bushnell to .143 clip. Bushnell was led defensively by Kailey Shirley, who recorded eight digs and three service aces. The Beacons end their CCC tournament run at 20-12 overall. Corban advanced to the conference championship match.

Eastern Oregon and Corban will face off tomorrow, Saturday, November 15 at 3 p.m., for the CCC championship tournament title.
