INDEPENDENCE, Ore., – No. 5-ranked College of Idaho continued their Cascade Collegiate Conference dominance, capturing their 12th CCC Championship and seventh straight team title at the 2025 CCC Women’s Cross Country Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, held Friday at Oak Knoll Golf Course in Independence, Oregon.

The Yotes placed five runners in the top 14 to finish with 39 points and a team average of 22:14 on the 6K course to win by over 50 points. Junior Kylee Quinton led the charge in third (21:49.2), followed by Julia Gilbert in fourth (21:54.7) and Rozzlyn Cazier in seventh (22:17.6). Freshman Paiten Braseth placed 11th (22:35.6), while Josie Patton rounded out the scoring five in 14th (22:37.4).

Evergreen State’s Alauna Carstens claimed the individual title in dominant fashion, crossing in 20:49.6 to win by 45 seconds. The junior’s outstanding performance marked the first conference crown for an Evergreen runner in program history.

No. 18-ranked Southern Oregon’s Alyssa Johnson was runner-up in 21:34.8, helping the Raiders finish second as a team with 91 points. Teammate Sophia Stubblefield earned All-Conference honors in 10th (22:30.3), while Alaina Casady (18th, 23:03.0) and Emily Picard (22nd, 23:14.6) also placed in the top 25.

No. 16-ranked Eastern Oregon finished third as a team behind strong showings from Riley Morris in fifth at 22:06.0 and Kaleah Hines in ninth at 22:27.4. No. 22-ranked Lewis-Clark State took fourth, led by Damaris Kibiwot in 8th at 22:19.9 and Camille Ussher in 16th at 22:56.6.

(RV) Corban’s Abigail Oosterhout (6th, 22:13.5) and (RV) Oregon Tech’s Saundra Parsons (13th, 22:36.0) also earned All-CCC recognition for their top 15 finishes.

Head coach Dominic Bolin of College of Idaho was named the CCC Women’s Coach of the Year. This marked his fourth consecutive season earning the honor after leading C of I to yet another dominant postseason performance.

With the victory, College of Idaho secured the CCC’s automatic berth to the 2025 NAIA Cross Country National Championships, scheduled for Nov. 21 at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida. At-large team and individual qualifiers will be announced next week.
