CORVALLIS, Ore. – The CCC Beach Volleyball Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, set off Today. Tomorrow, College of Idaho and Southern Oregon will compete to play against Corban in the championship match.

Match 1 - No. 2 seed Southern Oregon University def. No. 3 seed College of Idaho, 3-0
No. 7-ranked Southern Oregon began the tournament with a 3-0 sweep over No. 9-ranked College of Idaho in straight sets. Natalie Perez and Andressa Ribeiro led the Raiders in the four pair with demanding 21-13, 21-18 victories. Grace Gulbrandsen and Linda Conceicao followed with scores of 21-18, 21-15 as the two pair. Three pair Kira Sandoval and Lucretia Benolken completed the sweep with scores 21-18, 21-17. C of I led in the top pairing while SOU led in the fives before play was truncated.
Match 2 - No. 1 seed Corban University def. No. 4 seed Northwest University, 3-0
No. 2-ranked Corban started postseason with a 3-0 sweep over Northwest. Alexis Adebodun and Gabi Engels led Corban in the four pair with dominant 21-12, 21-6 victories. Emmi Marks and Jessica McMillian followed in the three pair with 21-19, 21-12 defeats. The twos, Cammie Masanda and Danae Stokes, rounded out with a three set win (11-21, 21-12, 15-11). The Warriors led in the top pairing and in the fives before play was truncated.
Match 3 - No. 3 seed College of Idaho def. No. 4 seed Northwest University, 3-1
College of Idaho stayed alive with a 3-1 dual victory to eliminate Northwest. The fours, Dariya Tlevlessova and Lauren Gauna, led the Yotes with a final score of 21-13, 21-19. The fives, Ellie Baker and Faith Faucher, won in a tight two set battle (24-22, 21-19) while Liza Montalbo and Maya Blake clinched the third, three set defeat (21-10, 20-22, 16-14). C of I’s top pair was ahead before play was truncated. In the twos, Masa Spela Jarc and Aubree Dees (21-23, 21-19, 15-13) secured Northwest’s final win of the year. The Eagles completed its season with a 6-11 record. College of Idaho advanced to the first elimination match tomorrow morning.
Match 4 - No. 1 seed Corban University def. No. 2 seed Southern Oregon University, 3-1
Corban outlasted Southern Oregon 3-1, with every single pair going the distance to three sets. Top pair Megan Dennis and Emma Bischoff (21-19, 18-21, 15-11), four pair Alexis Adebodun and Gabi Engels (22-20, 13-21, 15-13), along with five pair Rebecca Wilber and Erin Scott (21-14, 20-22, 15-13) all secured victories for the Warriors. SOU’s two pair won the tight three set match (21-14, 15-21, 19-17) and the Raiders three pair was leading before play was truncated. Southern Oregon will play College of Idaho in the first elimination match tomorrow morning. Corban will face the winner in the championship match at 12pm.
