PORTLAND, Ore. – University of British Columbia is leading by nine strokes after the opening round of the 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference Women’s Golf Championship, presented by U.S. Bank.
The Thunderbirds, who are ranked No. 1 in the latest NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Poll, shot a 302 (+10) as a team in round one.
The team scores after day one are: (1) British Columbia 302 (2) Oregon Tech 311 (3) Lewis-Clark State College 318 (4) College of Idaho (323) (5) Southern Oregon University 334 (6) Bushnell University 344 (7) Corban University 346 (8) Walla Walla University 357.
Elizabeth Labbe of British Columbia is at the top of the individual standings, holding a narrow stroke lead, carding an even 73 on the first round. Quincy Beyrouty of OIT is right behind, shooting a 1-over 74, followed by UBC Una Chou in third with a 2-over 75. With a 76 total, College of Idaho’s Reece Garey and Kaylee Jones are tied for fourth. T-Bird’s Jessica Ng and Grace Bell are next, tied with a 77 total to close out day one of the closely contested race for the top individual.
Round two will be another shotgun start on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. at the Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland, Oregon.
