CORVALLIS, Ore. – The highly anticipated 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference Softball Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, begins on Friday. The All-Conference teams can be found here.
The six seeds were finalized after the conclusion of the regular season on Saturday. The double elimination conference tournament takes place on May 2–4 and will be hosted by top-seeded Oregon Tech at John and Lois Stilwell Stadium in Klamath Falls, Oregon, for the fourth straight year.
National powerhouses No. 2-ranked Oregon Tech and No. 4-ranked Southern Oregon University shared the regular season championship, each finishing with a 23-4 conference record. Oregon Tech earned the top spot with the head-to-head tie breaker. No. 14-ranked Eastern Oregon University was also featured in the final 2025 NAIA rating while the College of Idaho received votes.
Game 1- #4 University of British Columbia vs. #5 College of Idaho @ 9 a.m.
British Columbia ended the CCC regular season with a 16-11 record. College of Idaho held a 14-13 conference record. C of I earned three of four games in their series against UBC and maintained a national ranking throughout most of the season. The Yotes also ranks second in the conference in both on-base percentage (.416) and home runs (21). The Thunderbirds pitching staff was successful, holding opponents to the second-lowest batting average in the CCC (.225) and leading the conference in fewest hits allowed (214), runs (109), and earned runs (85).
Game 2- #3 Eastern Oregon University vs. #6 Carroll College @ 11:30 a.m.
Defending tournament champion Eastern Oregon wrapped up CCC play with a 22-5 record. Carroll finished the conference season with a 12-15 record. The teams split their regular-season series, with the Saints handing the Mounties two of its five conference losses. EOU remained nationally ranked throughout the year and leads the conference in slugging percentage (.488), on-base percentage (.418), and home runs (29).
Game 3- #1 Oregon Tech vs. Winner Game 1 @ 2 p.m.
Oregon Tech clinched the CCC regular season title for the fourth consecutive year. Offensively, OIT ranks second in the conference in batting average (.338), runs scored (319), hits (452), and RBIs (282). On the defensive side, the Owls lead the CCC by holding opponents to the lowest batting average (.203), recording the most strikeouts (306), posting the highest fielding percentage (.980), and committing the fewest errors (27).
Game 4- #2 Southern Oregon University vs. Winner Game 2 @ 4:30 p.m.
Southern Oregon claimed a share of the conference title and held the No. 1 ranking in the NAIA throughout the season, finishing just outside the top spot in the final poll. SOU leads the conference in several categories including batting average (.357), runs scored (345), hits (520), RBIs (304), and total bases (692). On the mound the Raiders have the most wins (44) and saves (8) and boast the lowest team ERA at 1.87.
Whichever team wins the tournament championship will earn the CCC's second Automatic Qualifier (AQ) to the National Tournament. If OIT advances to the championship, their opponent will earn the other AQ. The opening rounds of the 44th Annual NAIA Softball Championship begins May 12.
