KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Three teams remain after day two of the 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference Softball Championship, presented by U.S. Bank. The tournament resumes Sunday morning with the winner of the first game facing Eastern Oregon in the championship at 1:30 p.m.
 
#4 seed University of British Columbia def. #6 seed Carroll College, 4-1
Game 5: UBC won 4-1. British Columbia was led by Jillian Matsubara, who had a perfect game at the plate and drove in two runs for the Thunderbirds. Kaitlyn Kim also helped the UBC offense with a leadoff home run in the sixth inning to break a 1-1 tie. Pitcher Carleen Murray was equally impressive, earning the win on the mound allowing just four hits and striking out three batters. The Fighting Saints were paced by Kati Slater's two hits. British Columbia advanced to face the winner of the second elimination game later today. Carroll College ended its season with a 18-26 overall, 12-15 CCC record.
 
#2 seed Southern Oregon University def. #5 seed College of Idaho, 7-0
Game 6: SOU won 7-0. The Raiders ace Ayla Davies was lights-out in the circle, earning a one-hit shutout while striking out six batters. SOU recorded 12 hits and was flawless in the field, led by Kennedy Kila's three hits and four RBIs. Southern Oregon advanced to play British Columbia in another elimination game later today. The Yotes were paced by one hit from Lolo Walker. College of Idaho was eliminated with a 26-18 overall, 14-13 CCC record.
 
#3 seed Eastern Oregon University def. #1 Oregon Tech, 5-0
Game 7: EOU won 5-0. Emily Barry hit a 2-run homer to help lead to the Mounties victory at the plate. On the mound, Kylie Parsons recorded a 1-hit shutout and added four strikeouts. Jayce Seavert broke up the perfect game to pace OIT. Oregon Tech will play in an elimination game tomorrow at 11 a.m. Eastern Oregon advanced to the championship game tomorrow at 1:30 p.m.
 
#4 seed University of British Columbia def. #2 seed Southern Oregon University, 6-3
Game 8: UBC won 6-3. Kaitlyn Kim went 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs to lead the Thunderbirds. Shae Sever earned the win on the mound with five strikeouts, four hits, and one earned run in five innings. Faith Moultrie paced the Raiders with three hits. SOU was eliminated with a 45-8 overall, 23-4 CCC record. British Columbia will face top seed Oregon Tech in another elimination game tomorrow at 11 a.m. The winner will play Eastern Oreogon in the championship game, having to win twice for the tournament title.
