CLEVELAND – The final 2024-25 LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup standings for NAIA had Southern Oregon University leading 11 Cascade Collegiate Conference institutions in ninth place with 726.25 total points.
The Raiders spring season was highlighted by a National Title in softball. SOU also added points in men’s and women’s outdoor track and field. College of Idaho followed right behind in 12th place with a score of 679, adding points from National Championship appearances in softball along with All-Americans in men’s and women’s outdoor track and field. Eastern Oregon University was next with 644 total points, ranking 14th with showings in softball along with men’s and women’s outdoor track and field.
University of British Columbia had an outstanding spring, totaling 291.5 points. UBC earned National Championship titles in women’s golf, along with men’s and women’s outdoor track and field. The Thunderbirds also added points in softball and baseball.
Lewis-Clark State ranked 71st with 291.5 points, gaining contributions from baseball and men’s outdoor track and field. Oregon Tech placed 76th with 257.5 points, led by results in baseball, softball, and women’s golf. Corban University secured the 86th spot with 223 points earned with help from men’s and women’s outdoor track and field.
The Evergreen State College (143 points) earned 109th place while Bushnell University (59.50 points) earned the 148th spot. Multnomah (16.50 points) and Northwest University (five points) rounded out the ranked CCC teams in 180th and 184th, respectively.
The LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in NAIA Championships.
