CORVALLIS, Ore. –
The following three CCC student-athletes have been recognized as the Cascade Collegiate Conference Players of the Week for their performances during competition from August 11 – 17, 2025.
Volleyball – Attacker
Lewis-Clark State College’s Juliauna Forgach Aguilar was named the CCC Attacker of the Week.
Forgach Aguilar, a senior outside hitter from Morenci, Ariz., had an outstanding opening weekend for the Warriors. She helped lead LC State to a 3-0 sweep over MSU-Northern on Friday on her home court. She hit .220 with 20 kills, averaging 6.67 kills per set while adding nine digs and a service ace.
Volleyball – Defender
Bushnell University’s Soleil Sands was named the CCC Defender of the Week.
Sands, a junior middle blocker from Vacaville, Calif., helped the Beacons to an undefeated opening weekend. Over the weekend she totaled 14 kills, 13 blocks and four digs on a .310 hitting percentage.
Volleyball – Setter
Oregon Tech’s Lucy Boyd was named the CCC Setter of the Week.
Boyd, a sophomore setter from Cave Creek, Ariz., had a terrific start to the season for the Owls. Over the weekend, she averaged 11 assists and 2.73 digs per set. She recorded double-doubles against two different opponents and also tied a career-high seven kills in OIT’s 3-0 sweep over Simpson University.
