KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its NAIA Scholar Teams as a part of its annual NAIA National Awards Day on Monday. The Cascade Collegiate Conference saw a total of 130 teams earn the NAIA Scholar Team Award.
 
College of Idaho led the conference with 18 teams. Corban University and Eastern Oregon University were right behind with 17 each. Bushnell University and Southern Oregon University secured 16 teams each while Lewis-Clark State College claimed 15 team winners. Oregon tech recorded 13 teams and Northwest University rounded out the CCC full members with nine.
 
Carroll College (3), University of Providence (3), Arizonia Christian University (1), Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (1), and Rocky Mountain College (1) all represented the CCC with scholar teams as well.
 
The Bushnell University Women’s Golf team led the conference for the 2024-25 academic year with an impressive 3.89 team GPA.
 
For a team to be considered for the NAIA Scholar Team award, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
