Corban University def. Walla Walla University, 98-64
Corban earned a 98-64 victory over Walla Walla. CU shot 54.7 percent from the field and recorded 19 steals with 34 assists, while almost doubling Walla Walla’s points in the paint with 60 points to WWU’s 34 points. The Warriors were led by TJ Zimmerman with the game high of 17 points. The Wolves shot 69.2 percent from the line and were paced by Soren Dallan with 16 points and nine rebounds.
(RV) Lewis-Clark State College def. Bushnell University, 72-60
Lew-Clark State defeated Bushnell in a 72-60 win. LC State shot 43.1 percent from the field and 88.9 percent from the line. The Warriors were led by a game-high 18 points from Jamare’ Childs and Grayson Hunt’s double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds. Bushnell recorded six steals and led in the paint with 34 points. The Beacons were paced by Cory Johnson with 15 points.
Northwest University def. Warner Pacific University, 93-60
Northwest cruised to a 93-60 win over Warner Pacific. Northwest shot 45.1 percent from the field, recorded 11 steals, and controlled the boards with 50 rebounds. The Eagles were led by Christian Watkins with a game-high 18 points and nine rebounds. The Knights shot 76.2 percent from the line and was paced by Terrin Dickey with 12 points.
Eastern Oregon University def. No. 20-ranked Oregon Tech, 87-74
Eastern Oregon upset Oregon Tech with a 87-74 win. EOU shot 51.8 percent from the field and went 11-of-22 from beyond the arc. The Mountaineers were led by Keilan Torkornoo’s double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds. OIT outrebounded Eastern Oregon 39-36 and led in points in the paint with 38. The Owls also recorded eight steals and were paced by 20 points from Owen Nathan.
Southern Oregon University def. (RV) College of Idaho, 95-81
Southern Oregon pulled away for a 95-81 win over the College of Idaho. Both teams were efficient from the field, as SOU shot 53.6 percent while C of I followed closely at 49.1 percent. The Raiders recorded 41 rebounds and 21 assists in the win. SOU was led by Elijah Jackson with 28 points and Joe Juhala’s double-double of 27 points and 12 rebounds. The Yotes had four players score in double figures and was paced by a game-high 29 points from Dougie Peoples.
