Walla Walla University def. Evergreen State College, 69-55
Walla Walla grabbed a 69-55 win from Evergreen. WWU shot 43.3 percent from the field, recorded 12 steals, and had every player score. The Wolves were led by Jaylo Bello with 25 points, Ally Haslam with 20 points, and Sidney Folkenberg with 11 rebounds. Evergreen won the battle of the boards with 40 rebounds and was paced by Jenna Glenzel with 14 points.
No. 13-ranked Lewis-Clark State College def. Northwest University, 92-57
Lewis-Clark State breezed over Northwest to secure a 92-57 victory. LC State shot 53.1 percent from the field and dominated all around with 45 points off turnovers, 44 points in the paint, 24 assists, and 19 steals. The Warriors were led by Tatum Brager with 18 points. The Eagles were paced by Ella Whitaker with 10 points.
College of Idaho def. Bushnell University, 69-53
The College of Idaho defeated Bushnell 69-53. C of I shot 41.7 percent from the field, added 443 rebounds, and scored 24 points in the paint. The Yotes were led by Mia Austin with 14 points. BU was consistent from the line with an 80.0 shooting percentage and recorded 10 steals. The Beacons were paced by Ayden Krupke’s double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds.
No. 17-ranked Eastern Oregon University def. No. 20-ranked Corban University
Eastern Oregon earned a 66-63 victory over Corban University in a thrilling matchup. Both teams recorded 10 assists and four steals. EOU shot an efficient 45.1 percent from the field and controlled the paint with 34 points. The Mountaineers were led by Kelsie Siegner’s double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds. The Warriors grabbed 39 rebounds and were paced by Jersey Huerta with 23 points and a double-double from Tayla Yost with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
