Bushnell University def. Corban University, 83-82
Bushnell prevailed over Corban with a tight 83-82 victory. Both teams battled offensively, with three players from each scoring in double digits. BU controlled the glass with 43 rebounds and shot 42.9 percent from the arc. The Beacons extended their final lead from the stripe at 1:12 in the second half. Both free throws were put away by Roy Bunn. Overall, Bushnell was led by Cory Johnson with 21 points and eight rebounds. CU shot 45.8 percent from the field, recorded nine steals, and had 15 assists. The Warriors pushed in the second half, outscoring the Beacons 43-33 despite the loss, and were paced by Clyde Harris Jr. with 24 points.
