Eastern Oregon rolled past Walla Walla with a 72-36 victory. EOU held WWU to a 27.5 shooting percentage, controlled the boards with 48 rebounds, and dished out 22 assists. Raquel Fehringer led the Mountaineers with 12 points, helping the team build its largest lead of 38 points with 4:38 remaining in the fourth quarter. The Wolves were paced by Ally Haslam with 12 points and nine rebounds.
No. 13-ranked Lewis-Clark State College def. (RV) College of Idaho, 61-44
Lewis-Clark State prevailed over the College of Idaho 61-44. LC State shot 38.9 percent from the three-point line, recorded 13 steals and 13 assists, and held each player on CI to less than 10 points. The Warriors were led by Sitara Byrd with 17 points and Darian Herring’s double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Yotes controlled the glass with 39 rebounds and were paced by Kylie Waltermeyer with eight points and Brooke Beresford with nine rebounds.
Oregon Tech def. Northwest University, 81-69
Oregon Tech earned an 81-69 win over Northwest. OIT shot 50.8 percent from the field and added 40 points in the paint, 34 rebounds, and 16 assists. The Lady Owls had four players score in double digits, led by Tatum Schmerbach’s double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. NU rallied after halftime, doubling its points with 29 in the third quarter. The Eagles were paced by Kaleah Medeiros with a game high of 20 points.
(RV) Southern Oregon University def. Evergreen State College, 95-29
Southern Oregon dominated Evergreen State, 95-29. SOU controlled each part of the game. Offensively, Southern Oregon shot 58.7 percent, recorded 23 assists, and had 52 points in the paint, and four players in double digits. Defensively, the Raiders held Evergreen to 24.4 percent from the field and added 17 steals. SOU was led by Bridgette McIntyre with 22 points. The Geoducks were paced by Amaya Afatasi with nine points.
