RV College of Idaho def. Bushnell University, 61-55
The College of Idaho fended off Bushnell 61-55. In a thrilling contest of tied scoring in the third and fourth quarters, 36-36, the game was decided in the first half with CI up 25-19. C of I shot 83.3 percent from the free throw line, scored 24 points in the paint, and recorded 11 assists. The Yotes were led by Kylie Waltermeyer and Brooke Beresford with 14 points apiece. BU held CI to 29.6 percent overall from the field, grabbed 48 rebounds, and scored 20 points off the bench. The Beacons were paced by Ayden Krupke with 12 points and seven rebounds.
RV Corban University def. No. 14-ranked Eastern Oregon University, 72-66
Corban pulled out a 72-66 win over Eastern Oregon. CRB shot 47.3 percent from the field, scored 25 points off the bench, and grabbed 40 rebounds. Jenna Albrecht led the way with 18 points. EOU had 10 steals, scored 38 points in the paint, and went 12-14 from the stripe. Kelsie Siegner’s double-double paved the way for the Mountaineers with 17 points and 12 rebounds.
No. 12-ranked Lewis-Clark State College def. Northwest University, 98-37
Lewis-Clark State cruised past Northwest 98-37. LC State dominated the first three quarters, holding NU to under double digits in each. The Warriors filled the stat sheet with 49 rebounds, 16 steals, 51.4 percent from the field, 42 points off turnovers, 40 points in the paint, and five players scoring in double digits. Payton Hymas and Tatum Brager led the way with 18 points apiece, with Darian Herring contributing with a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds. The Eagles were paced by Ella Whitaker with 11 points.
RV Southern Oregon University def. Warner Pacific University, 88-43
Southern Oregon grabbed an 88-43 victory over Warner Pacific. SOU shot 55.3 percent from the arc, dished out 22 assists, and grabbed 43 rebounds. Bridgette McIntyre’s standout performance led the way for the Raiders with 34 points. The Knights were paced by Shielteal Watah with 13 points.
Evergreen State College def. Walla Walla University, 62-53
Evergreen defeated Walla Walla 62-53. Evergreen held WWU to a 25.8 shooting percentage and grabbed 40 rebounds, seven steals, seven assists, and seven blocks. Bayleigh Harder led the way for the Geoducks with 18 points and nine rebounds. The Wolves had 10 steals, went 18-21 from the line, and were paced by Jaylo Bello with 24 points.
