No. 12-ranked Lewis-Clark State College def. Warner Pacific University, 72-52
Lewis-Clark State cruised past Warner Pacific 72-52. After a third-quarter surge, the Warriors secured their win. LC had every player contribute, controlled the box with 52 points in the paint and 39 rebounds, and added 13 steals. The Warriors were led by Sitara Byrd with 17 points and Darian Harring’s double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds. WPU shot 43.1 percent from the field and dished out 18 assists. The Knights were paced by Maddy Woolf with 11 points.
RV Southern Oregon University def. Bushnell University, 64-43
Southern Oregon earned a 64-43 win against Bushnell. SOU shot 46.9 percent from the field and held the Beacons to a 31.6 shooting percentage. Southern Oregon grabbed 35 rebounds, dished out 12 assists, and recorded 11 steals. The Raiders were led by Jenika Zurita with 19 points. BU had 25 points off the bench, paced by Ayden Krupke and Kyra Quinn with eight points apiece.
No. 22-ranked Corban University def. Oregon Tech, 70-60
Corban fended off Oregon Tech 70-60. Corban shot 51.0 percent from the field, added 40 points in the paint, and dished out 14 assists. The Warriors were led by Jersey Huerta, who scored 19 points, and Emilia Bishop, who grabbed 11 rebounds. OIT was paced by Tatum Schmerbach with the game high of 21 points, three steals, and two blocks.
No. 15-ranked Eastern Oregon University def. The Evergreen State College, 97-51
Eastern Oregon dominated Evergreen State 97-51. EOU shot 47.4 percent from the field and tacked on 17 three-pointers on the night, shooting 48.6 percent behind the arc. The Mountaineers dished out 30 assists, and added 55 bench points and 52 rebounds. Kelsie Siegner led the way for Eastern witb 25 points. The Geoducks were paced by Sahara Soufi with 13 points.
RV College of Idaho def. Northwest University, 76-53
College of Idaho secured a 76-53 victory over Northwest. C of I shot 42.0 percent from the field and just shy of 100 percent from the free throw line, 92.9 percent. The Yotes controlled the box with 42 points in the paint and 41 rebounds, led by Anna Mooney with 15 points. NU put up seven three’s on the night and was paced by Taimane Faleafine-Auwae with 14 points and seven rebounds.
