Oregon Tech swept Warner Pacific University
Game 1 (five innings): Oregon Tech won 8-0. A strong first inning for the Lady Owls set the tone with four runs. OIT was led by Milbourne with two RBIs, two runs, and one hit. Schmidt pitched a shutout game, starting and finishing all five innings with eight strikeouts, getting the win on the mound. The Knights were held to zero hits and zero runs.
Game 2: Oregon Tech won 7-1. OIT was led by Loose with 2 hits, two RBIs, and one run. Parker got the win on the mound with six strikeouts in five innings. WPU was paced by Berialt with one run.
Eastern Oregon University swept Simpson University
Game 1: Eastern Oregon won 9-1. The Mountaineers were led by Baumgart with 2 hits, one RBI, and one run. Mann got the win on the mound with six strikeouts, pitching all six innings. SU was paced by Schulzkump with one run.
Game 2: Eastern Oregon won 7-5. A seventh-inning rally of four runs gave EOU today’s sweep. The Mountaineers were led by Monaghan with four hits in four at-bats with one run and one RBI. Schmitz got the win on the mound with three strikeouts in two innings. SU was paced by Lopez-Cortez with four RBIs, two hits, and one run.
Corban University swept Bushnell University
Game 1: Corban won 14-11. First, third, and seventh inning rallies of 4, 6, and 4 kept the Warriors ahead. CRB was led by Carattini with three hits, three runs, and two RBIs. Jankowski got the win on the mound, only allowing one run in two innings. The Beacons were paced by Richardson with four hits in four at-bats with three RBIs and two runs.
Game 2: Corban won 8-1. CRB was led by Senio with three RBIs, two hits, and one run. Banks got the win on the mound with five strikeouts, pitching a shutout game. The Beacons were paced by Alexander with one hit and one run.
Southern Oregon University and British Columbia split
Game 1: Southern Oregon won 6-1. SOU was led by Grotewiel with four RBIs, two hits, and one run. Davies got the win on the mound, pitching a shutout game with four strikeouts. The Thunderbirds were paced by Donoghue with two hits.
Game 2: British Columbia won 1-0. A last-second run in the seventh gave UBC the victory. The Thunderbirds were led by Harnett with two hits and one RBI. Fortier got the win on the mound with two strikeouts. SOU was paced by Ramirez with two hits.
