KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference took the top three spots and two teams received votes in the latest NAIA Softball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, released Wednesday by the national office.
The state of Oregon owns the top three spots in the second poll. Eastern Oregon takes over the top spot from the previous No. 1, Southern Oregon, which is now No. 3, while Oregon Tech leaps two spots and sits at No. 2. All three CCC programs received a piece of the first-place votes.
Eastern Oregon University (19-3) earned the top spot and four first-place votes with 423 points.
Oregon Tech (23-3) came in right behind at No. 2 with 417 points and two first-place votes.
Southern Oregon University (21-9) followed ranked at No. 3 with 415 points and five first-place votes.
College of Idaho (12-10) and
University of British Columbia (14-8) received votes.
