CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2026 Cascade Collegiate Conference Women’s Wrestling postseason awards were announced Thursday by the conference office.
University of Providence senior Erin Hikiji was named the McDonald's Wrestler of the Year, presented by Urban Edge Network, for the second consecutive season. Southern Oregon University’s Vida Boskovic earned Newcomer of the Year honors. Kayla McNatt of Arizona Christian University was selected as Freshman of the Year. Providence head coach Matt Atwood was named the Coach of the Year for the second straight season. Southern Oregon received the Athletic Solutions Team Sportsmanship Award.
Hikiji (103lbs), a senior from Mililani, Hawaii, capped off a historic career with a dominant undefeated season, finishing 34-0 overall. She outscored opponents 267-5, recording 18 technical falls and eight pins. At the CCC Championship, Hikiji advanced through the bracket with a pin and technical fall before earning a medical forfeit in the finals to secure her third consecutive conference title. She was named the Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament.
At the NAIA National Championship, Hikiji claimed her second individual national title and fourth All-American honor. She earned a 10-0 decision in the semifinals and followed with an 11-0 victory in the championship match, cementing her legacy as one of the most accomplished wrestlers in Argo and CCC history.
Boskovic (160lbs), a sophomore from Portland, Ore., made an immediate impact in her debut season with Southern Oregon. She compiled a 22-13 record, including 14 wins by pin and three technical falls. Her season was highlighted by a tournament title at the Mountaineer Open. Boskovic placed sixth at the CCC Championship before turning in an impressive performance at the NAIA National Championship, finishing fourth as the No. 18 seed. She won five consecutive consolation matches, including three by pin, and recorded three top eight upsets.
McNatt (110lbs), a freshman from Glendale, Ariz., delivered a strong first season for Arizona Christian. She placed at every tournament she entered and climbed to a No. 17 national ranking midseason. McNatt earned All-Conference honors with a third-place finish at the CCC Championship and went on to place fifth at the NAIA National Championship, becoming the first All-American in Arizona Christian’s inaugural women’s wrestling season.
Atwood guided Providence to its first CCC team championship and a fourth-place finish at the NAIA National Championship. In his second season earning the honor, he led the program to a 13-2 overall record, producing six All-Americans and one National Champion.
