CORVALLIS, Ore. –
The following eight Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes have been recognized as the McDonald's Player of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, for their performances during competition from February 23 – March 1, 2026.
Beach Volleyball – Pair
No. 2-ranked Corban University’s Alexis Adebodun and Cammie Masanda were named the CCC Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week.
The senior and junior duo recorded two wins while hosting the first CCC tournament this weekend. They defeated opponents from Northwest University (21-12, 21-8) and No. 9-ranked College of Idaho (21-19, 21-12), both in two sets. Currently, they hold an 8-1 record this season.
Baseball – Player
College of Idaho’s Austin Moon was named the CCC Baseball Player of the Week.
Moon, a junior outfielder from Chino, Calif., had an outstanding week on the field for the Yotes. He recorded a .462 batting average and a .500 slugging percentage with 12 hits. He also added 10 RBIs and five runs while earning a .500 on base percentage. He held a perfect fielding percentage to round out his impressive week.
Baseball – Pitcher
University of British Columbia’s Myles Chamberlain was named the CCC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
Chamberlain, a junior from Victoria, B.C., had a fantastic performance on the mound against Bushnell University, leading to a 3-1 victory. He allowed just one run and five hits across six innings while striking out five batters without letting up a walk for a 1.50 ERA and a .83 WHIP.
Softball – Player
Oregon Tech’s Addison Kachnik was named the CCC Softball Player of the Week.
Kachnik, a senior third baseman from Beaverton, Ore., had an outstanding CCC opening weekend on the field in the Owls sweep of the Yotes. She recorded a .462 batting average and a .769 slugging percentage with six hits including four doubles. She also added 11 RBIs and four runs while earning a .563 on base percentage. She held a perfect fielding percentage to round out her impressive week.
Softball – Pitcher
University of British Columbia’s Carleen Murray was named the CCC Softball Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season.
Murray, a senior from White Rock, B.C., had a tremendous CCC opening weekend on the mound as the Thunderbirds swept the Warriors. She struck out 21 batters in 15 innings while not allowing a run or walk for a perfect ERA and a .33 WHIP.
Men’s Golf – Golfer
Bushnell University’s Matt Forsyth was named the CCC Men’s Golfer of the Week.
Forsyth (72), a junior from Eugene, Ore., claimed the individual title as the Beacons battled the Corban Warriors. He finished in first place by two strokes out of 22 golfers with a single round low of one-over 72 to set off the spring season.
Women’s Golf – Golfer
(RV) Lewis-Clark State College’s Giulia Belfontali was named the CCC Women’s Golfer of the Week for the second time this season
Belfontali (78-77-74 – 229), a sophomore from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, earned the individual title at the OUAZ Spring Invite. This is her second straight individual title, with her third round score reaching a tournament low to help lead LC State to runner up status.
