LC State Men's Golf Wins First CCC Tournament Title

LEWISTON, Idaho  Lewis-Clark State College Men’s Golf captured the programs first Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship Title, presented by U.S. Bank, on its home course, finishing with a three-round total of 852 to claim the conference’s biggest stage.

With the victory, the Warriors secured an automatic berth to the 2026 NAIA National Championship, scheduled for May 12–15 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.

University of British Columbia finished runner-up at 856, just four strokes back. Despite the narrow finish, the Thunderbirds claimed the 2025-26 CCC regular season title for the sixth time, posting a 284.8 stroke average after winning the three other conference tournaments this season.

Oregon Tech placed third at 879, followed by Bushnell University in fourth at 885. College of Idaho finished fifth at 894, with Corban University sixth at 900.

Southern Oregon University (912), Warner Pacific University (916), and Walla Walla University (929) rounded out the team standings.

Individually, Lewis-Clark State’s Andrea Artusini rose to the moment, earning championship medalist honors after firing an outstanding final round of 67 (-5) and finishing at 209 (-7) to secure the victory.

Bushnell’s Matt Forsyth finished just behind in second place at 210 (-6), while UBC’s Jake Houston and Lewis-Clark State’s Adam Lovatt tied for third at 212 (-4). Houston carded a tournament low of 66 (-6) in the final round today.

Southern Oregon’s Ricky Reisner, Corban’s David Harvey, and UBC’s Aneesh Kaura all tied for fifth at 215 (-1), highlighting a highly competitive championship field all around.

Zach Anderson of LC State earned the Cascade Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year honor for the third time in his career after leading the Warriors to the programs first tournament title.

Corban University was named the Athletic Solutions Team Sportsmanship Award winner. 

The CCC Player of the Year is awarded to the golfer with the lowest stroke average during the conference season. Houston earned the honor, holding a 71.3 stroke average.

The All Cascade Conference Team is awarded by the top-ten finishers in order of stroke average. Golfers must have played in a minimum of six CCC rounds to be eligible.
