Shockey’s Strong Round Helps Warrior Women’s Golf Make Cut at National Tournament

YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Warrior women advanced to the final round of the 2026 NAIA Women's Golf Championship after a solid second round kept LC State in the top 15 in the field. The Warriors made the cut, led by a stellar round by senior Dallis Shockey.
 
Isabella Barquet leads the group in a tie for 34th place overall. She carded a round of 10-over-par to stay within the top 50 golfers.
 
Senior Shockey had the best round of the day for the Warrior women at 4-over. She had two birdies on the front nine and moved up to a tie for 48th.
 
Giulia Belfontali moved up to a tie for 53rd after a 7-over round, and Jane Barry improved to a tie for 61st after a round of 11-over. She is one stroke off Belfontali who is one stroke back of Shockey.
 
Freshman Taylor Mire carded a 16-over total through her 18 holes. She is tied for 82nd.
