2026 CSC Academic All-America Baseball Team
EUGENE, Ore. – Senior baseball player Nate Stevens made history on Tuesday as he was selected for College Sports Communicators (CSC) Second-Team Academic All-America honors.
Selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), the Academic All-America program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom, with a set of qualification standards including game-play minimums and GPA requirements.
The Designated Hitter becomes Bushnell's first baseball player ever to earn Academic All-America status after a remarkable final season, hitting .315 with a 1.019 OPS. He was second on the team with 62 hits and 12 doubles. He also led the Beacons and was second in the Cascade Conference in home runs with 14. He earned All-Cascade Collegiate Conference honors and led the Beacons to the CCC tournament for the third straight season.
Stevens finished off his Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling this spring with a 3.67 GPA. He joins men's soccer player Omar Barajas as the second CSC Academic All-America selection for the 2025-2026 year.
Stevens was the only player from the Cascade Collegiate Conference to be voted in as an Academic All-America for baseball this season.
