KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its 2025-26 NAIA Scholar Teams as part of its annual National Awards Day on Monday, with the Cascade Collegiate Conference earning a total of 121 NAIA Scholar Team awards across 12 member institutions.
Among CCC full members, 105 teams representing seven institutions earned the prestigious academic honor. The College of Idaho led the conference with 20 teams, followed by Eastern Oregon University with 17 and Bushnell University and Corban University with 16 each. Lewis-Clark State College recorded 15 Scholar Teams, while Oregon Tech earned 13 and Northwest University added eight.
Bushnell University’s women’s golf team recorded the highest team GPA among CCC full-member institutions, posting an impressive 3.93 GPA for the 2025-26 academic year.
Five CCC affiliate institutions also contributed to the conference-wide total. The University of British Columbia recorded five Scholar Teams, while the University of Providence earned four. Carroll College and Rocky Mountain College each had two teams recognized, and Trinity Western University added three.
The NAIA Scholar Team Award recognizes teams that achieve a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, as defined by their respective institution. The team grade point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
The 121 Scholar Teams recognized across CCC full-member and affiliate institutions reflect the continued academic accomplishments of conference student-athletes.
