CORVALLIS, Ore. –
The following 11 Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes have been recognized as the CCC Players of the Week for their performances during competition from September 14 – 20, 2026.
Men’s Cross Country – Runner
No. 3-ranked Southern Oregon University’s Mason Weisgerber was named the CCC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Weisgerber, a senior from Wilsonville, Ore., had an outstanding run at the PLU Invitational Open. He completed the 8K in 24:19.3 to win the race. He led the 100 person field by 19 seconds while also leading the Raiders to a team victory.
Women’s Cross Country – Runner
The Evergreen State College’s Alauna Carstens was named the CCC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Carstens, a senior from Shelton, Wash., had a terrific opening at the PLU Invitational. She won the 6K with a time of 20:50.9 against 147 total runners. She finished over 19 seconds ahead of the runner up while also breaking the course record.
Men’s Golf – Golfer
Oregon Tech’s Silas Guzlas was named the CCC Men’s Golfer of the Week.
Guzlas, a junior from Olympia, Wash., delivered a standout performance at the Chico State Wildcat Invitational. He carded a 1-under 215 over 54 holes to finish tied as the top NAIA individual. His performance also helped the Owls finish as the top NAIA team.
Women’s Golf – Golfer
Corban University’s Madelyn Moore was named the CCC Women’s Golfer of the Week.
Moore, a junior from Vancouver, Wash., delivered a standout performance at the Bearcat Invitational. She strung together two of the best rounds of golf in a single tournament she's had in her collegiate career, finishing in 13th place following a career-best 79 carded in the final round.
Men’s Soccer – Defensive Player
(RV) Southern Oregon University’s Mutchukian was named the CCC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Mutchukian, a junior defender from Las Vegas, Nev., had an outstanding weekend for the Raiders. He was part of a back line that gave up only four shots on goal per game last weekend. He also had equalizer involvements in both games, heading in a 1st-half goal at Northwest University (2-1) and assisting one in the 82nd minute at The Evergreen State College (2-1).
Men’s Soccer – Offensive Player
(RV) Southern Oregon University’s Jonathan Gaspar was named the CCC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Gaspar, a junior midfielder from Forest Grove, Ore., powered SOU to a pair of 2-1 victories to open conference play, scoring the game-winning goal in both matches. His late strike at Northwest came with just 13 seconds remaining, marking the latest regulation game-winner in program history. At Evergreen, Gaspar helped the Raiders score an equalizer and game-winner in the final 10 minutes for the first time in program history.
Women’s Soccer – Defensive Player
(RV) Southern Oregon University’s Payton Puppe-Wotipka was named the CCC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Puppe-Wotipka, a senior defender from Mukilteo, Wash., helped lead SOU to a pair of 2-0 shutout victories to open conference play. She anchored a Raiders back line that held Evergreen State without a single shot attempt while also scoring the game-winning goal against the Geoducks.
Women’s Soccer – Offensive Player
No. 9-ranked College of Idaho’s Abbi Roubidoux was named the CCC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Roubidoux, a senior forward from Fruitland, Idaho, opened conference play with a strong weekend for the Yotes. She scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Warner Pacific University before netting the opening goal in a 4-1 win against Walla Walla University.
Volleyball – Attacker
No. 1-ranked Eastern Oregon University’s Brooke Womack was named the CCC Attacker of the Week for the third time this season.
Womack, a senior outside hitter from Sandy, Ore., delivered another stellar weekend for EOU. She totaled 28 kills (3.5 k/s) for an impressive .338 attack percentage. She also added 37 digs (4.63 d/s), four service aces and three blocks in the Mounties 3-1 victories over (RV) Bushnell University and No. 6-ranked Corban University.
Volleyball – Defender
No. 4-ranked College of Idaho’s Avery Lewis was named the CCC Defender of the Week.
Lewis, a freshman libero from Mandeville, La., had a fantastic weekend for C of I. She tallied 35 digs (4.38 d/s) and added two service aces during the Yotes victories over (RV) Bushnell University and No. 6-ranked Corban University.
Volleyball – Setter
No. 4-ranked College of Idaho’s Shaynee McWilliams was named the CCC Setter of the Week for the fourth time this season.
McWilliams, a sophomore setter from Meridian, Idaho, continued to power C of I to an undefeated start. She recorded an incredible 91 assists (11.38 a/s) and 29 digs (3.63 d/s) while adding six kills, five service aces, and four blocks in wins over (RV) Bushnell University and No. 6-ranked Corban University.
