Cascade Conference Internship Opportunities

The Cascade Conference is accepting applications for the following volunteer internship opportunities (undergraduates encouraged to apply):

 

·        Serve as primary media contact for assigned sport(s)

·        Write news releases and feature stories for dissemination to local, regional and national media outlets

·        Assist in updating the conference web site (cascadeconference.org)

·        Assist in preparation and development of conference record books

·        Travel to and provide on-site media relations support for selected CCC championship events

·        Other duties as assigned

 

·        A background in journalism, communications and/or information technology

·        Strong writing skills

·        Experience in sports information and web site operations preferred

·        Ability to work independently and efficiently on time-sensitive projects

·        Excellent communication and organization skills

 

 

 

·        Assist in selling advertising for the Cascade Conference web site

·        Assist in securing corporate sponsors for the Cascade Conference

·        Develop and implement marketing strategies for championship events

·        Assist in promotions and event management for selected CCC championships

·        Other duties as assigned

 

·        Demonstrated experience in marketing, promotions and corporate sponsorship

·        Ability to work independently and efficiently on time-sensitive projects

·        Excellent communication and organization skills
