Portland International Airport (PDX) is a modern, full-service airport located just 10 miles from the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, the site of the NAIA Cross Country National Championships.
In October 2006 and October 2007, Conde Nast Traveler magazine awarded PDX the top spot in its annual reader’s poll. The publication twice named PDX the best U.S. airport for its environmental initiatives, light rail access, array of shops and free wireless Internet access throughout the terminal.
