Corban’s Thomas Kerr has been named the Red Lion Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Kerr, a junior from Olympia, Wash., shut down No. 2 Lewis-Clark State in Corban's big upset win over LCSC. While throwing six effective innings and allowing only one run, he struck out nine LCSC batters.
 
He received a no-decision in the game, as Corban scored late to win it, but he helped Corban snap a 14-game losing streak to LCSC and Corban won just its sixth-ever game against the No. 2-ranked LCSC Warriors.
