Northwest Christian’s T.J. Wright has been named the Red Lion Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Wright, a sophomore from Eugene, Ore., broke the NCU school record and hit the "A" standard in the 3000m Steeplchase, becoming NCU's first men's track & field athlete ever to qualify for the NAIA National Championship tournament. Wright finished 1st out of four NAIA athletes in the DII and DI heavy event. His time is the third-fastest in the NAIA this season.
