Northwest Christian’s Madeleine Nelson has been named the Red Lion Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Nelson, a junior from Dalles, Ore., broke 40m for the first time to earn her first NAIA "A" Standard in the Javelin. Also set a new school record in the Triple Jump, missing the NAIA "B" by just 0.75m.
