Southern Oregon’s Jessa Perkinson has been named the Red Lion Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
 
Perkinson, a junior from Roseburg, Ore., running the 6K for the last time this year, completed the McIver Park course in 21 minutes 49 seconds in a field of 72 runners. She cleared second place by a full 23 seconds with a mile pace of 5:51 for her first victory of the season, leading SOU to second in the team standings.
