Southern Oregon’s Jessa Perkinson has been named the Red Lion Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
 
A week after winning the Lewis & Clark Invite by 23 seconds, Perkinson, a junior from Roseburg, Ore., cleared the field by 27 seconds at William Jessup's Warrior Invitational by finishing the 5K in 17:13.7.
 
 She took the lead halfway through the race and cruised to the finish, pushing the Raiders to second of seven in the team standings.
