Softball-Player
Southern Oregon’s Harlee Donovan has been named the Red Lion softball Player of the Week.
Donovan, a junior from Half Moon Bay, Calif., is the first player in SOU history to hit home runs in six consecutive games after going deep five times with 11 RBI against No. 25 Oregon Tech on Friday and Saturday.
In her two-homer Game 1, she hit a two-run shot to make it 2-0 in the first inning and a three-run shot to make it 6-2 in the fifth. Her biggest HR was delivered with the Raiders down 6-4 in the seventh inning of Game 3, when she tied it up and the Raiders went on to win in extra innings and complete the CCC sweep.
