Southern Oregon’s Rakayla Tyler has been named the Red Lion women’s outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Tyler, a sophomore from Henderson, Nev., broke a 13-year-old SOU record in the 100 meters at the Raider Invitational with a time of 12.13 seconds which is best in the CCC this season and an NAIA 'B' mark. She also helped SOU's 4x100 team to an NAIA 'A' mark of 47.87 that broke another school record.
