Ogilvie, a senior from Surrey, B.C., put together an outstanding three-start weekend to lift the Thunderbirds to their first-ever CCC Tournament appearance. She tossed three complete games, including two shutouts – totaling 19 innings, allowing 13 hits and one earned run, and striking out 10 with one walk. On Friday, she pitched UBC to an 8-1 win over Northwest Christian as part of a four-game sweep of the Beacons. That set up a deciding series Sunday against Carroll, with the winner taking the conference’s final postseason spot, and she tossed a three-hit shutout in the opener as the Thunderbirds won 3-0. She took the ball again in Game 2 and went all five innings, allowing five hits in an 11-0 victory that kept the season alive.
