Menlo’s Bruce Valdez has been named the Red Lion Wrestler of the Week.
 
Valdez, a junior from Beaumont, Calif., competed at the annual California Collegiate Open in San Francisco and won the 184 weight class with a 4-0 record. Valdez won three decisions and one by fall to claim the tournament title and helped the Oaks to a 5th place team finish.
