Men’s Basketball
Michael Loomis of Northwest Christian has been named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Loomis, a senior forward from West Linn, Ore., posted a new school record with 48 points against Multnomah, the fifth-highest point total in CCC history and the third-highest in NAIA DII this season. Loomis also broke NCU record with 12 three-pointers, the highest in NAIA DII this season. He additionally recorded 18 rebounds, his second-highest total this year. In conference game this season, Loomis is #1 in the CCC scoring, #1 in the free throw percentage, #2 in 3-point field goals, and #2 in rebounding.
