Hellman, a native of Nelson, B.C., claimed a first-place finish individually at the NCU Invitational, helping the UBC squad to a tie for first in the team’s first time competing as associate members of the Cascade Collegiate Conference. Hellman shot a 74 in round one and 77 in round two to finish three strokes ahead of the second-place finisher.
