Bassett played all 180 minutes as a center back during the (RV) Mountaineers’ weekend sweep, limiting opponents to 13 total shots (and just two shots on goal) in the team’s two shutouts. The junior from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho also assisted Eastern Oregon's first goal on Sunday against Northwest Christian, making a great pass over two defenders to set up Taylor Boyer's eventual game-winner. With the wins, the Mountaineers clinched at least a share of the 2018 regular-season CCC title.
